Boogie Down Yoga

Boogie Down Yoga is traditional Hatha Yoga postures linked with continuous Hip Hop or Pop dance movement. In this class you will stretch, strengthen and sweat while bringing together your mind, body and breath. The music in this class is Hip Hop, Pop and R&B. This all levels class is perfect for beginners who want a different approach to a yoga practice but also seasoned yogis would like the challenge of the movement and music.

The instructor and creator of BDY is Marybeth Feeney. Boogie Down Yoga is currently taught at three studios in South Eastern Massachusetts. For more info about MB and Boogie Down schedules and locations click on the links to the left.

Boogie Down Yoga & Hip Hop Dance Workshop
Combining Hip Hop dancing & Yoga offers an exciting twist on both practices by featuring music of the Hip Hop, Rock and Pop worlds with traditional yoga asanas. The result is an East meets West Yoga style that's athletically fulfilling spiritually soothing. The two hours are filled with a structure of both a yoga and dance class: Yoga warm up, Dance warm up, Yoga flow, Dance Flow, Linking choreographed dance steps into Yoga Postures, Choreographed Dance and ending with Yoga relaxation (Savasana)

Boogie Down Yoga Bootcamp
This is a 90 minute Boogie Down Yoga class that will be packed with cardio and toning to lead up to introduction of advanced yoga poses and end with relaxation. This workout is accessible for all levels of fitness and yoga practice.
